Beginning Monday, June 29 at 7 PM, Sydney Reed and Jillian Westerfield will facilitate a four-week Zoom discussion of the book How to Be an Antiracist, by Ibram X. Kendi. By the end of our journey with this book, we should all have some personal action steps to take in dismantling racism and white supremacy. Please email Jillian at jwesterfield@lakestreet.org to register and receive the meeting link. Our final meeting will be July 20 at 7 PM.
Exploring Christianity meets online two Sundays of every month at noon. The purpose of these group meetings is to make available to members/congregants of LSC a forum for learning about and discussing a variety of Christian-related topics. The focus of our group discussions range from the past (the history of Christianity) to the present (current thinking from various scholars about the state of Christianity) to the future (needs for change in) Christianity. Please contact us if you are interested in joining this group.
