Lake Street Church’s relief fund combats effects of COVID-19, racism
The Daily Northwestern interviewed Rev. Michael Woolf about Lake Street church’s COVID-19 relief fund for black Evanston residents. The $6,000 fund, made up of contributions from congregants and a grant from American Baptist Home Mission Societies, was distributed completely within 24 hours to help with rent and groceries.
