Join Interfaith Action of Evanston's second annual Walk for Warmth, now transformed into a car parade, and help raise funds to support the Emergency Overnight Shelter. The shelter is open every night through March to provide warmth and safety to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. January 18, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a national day of service, teams will meet at the Morton Civic Center parking lot at 2100 Ridge Ave. in Evanston at 11am and drive a two-mile circuit of the IAE overnight shelter sites. This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome. If you're unable to participate in the parade, you may still offer a contribution. Pre-registration is required as there won't be registration done on the site the day of the parade.
