Betsy Wilson and Steve Van Kuiken will lead a book group that will meet June 7, 14, 21. The group will be discussing two very important books: The New Jim Crow, by Michelle Alexander and Just Mercy, by Bryan Stevenson. We will meet from noon to 1:00 pm on the three Sundays. The subject of racism, police violence, and mass incarceration are urgent and timely concerns, and these discussions might be part of a broader discussion.
