Elizabeth will present a varied program of music, opening the program with Bach Bourées, followed by Hip Hip Bourée by contemporary composer Julian Jacobson. Other twentieth-century compositions (by Andrew Adorian, Rudolf Matz, and Simon Jeffes) will be performed, along with a 17th-century Irish folk song. Ms. Anderson will be joined by her husband, horn player Michael Buckwalter for the final pieces in the program, by French composer Frederic Duvernoy and W. A. Mozart.
Following the performance, Rev. Michael Woolf of Lake Street Church will engage the artists in conversation about creativity and passion. Concert attendees will be invited to join in with questions, as well.
